#Yamasan's Soil

This is pumice that has been washed, dried, and then fired at high temperatures.

It is sterile, offers excellent drainage and aeration, retains moisture, and is very hard and resistant to crumbling, making it ideal for mixing with other soil components.

Larger grains are used as drainage material at the bottom of pots.

Its high drainage and aeration, along with its hardness, make it suitable for succulent plant soil mixes, such as for Haworthia, Agave, and cacti.

When growing succulents, the most common mistakes are overwatering or using soil with poor drainage and aeration, leading to root rot. To help them grow healthily, we recommend mixing in soil like this.

It is also often used as a decorative top dressing on potted plants for aesthetic appeal.
